Martha
~8 yrs

Martha came into foster care very obese, weighing 23 lbs. on a small frame. She is currently on a diet and has lost a few pounds; she is now able to go on short walks. Other than her weight, she is in good health and is active. She recently had her teeth cleaned.

Martha is a talkative Cairn and is a bit of a grumbler. She would do well with a person who is not easily bullied, and is terrier savvy. Martha likes children and young teens, but she will try to dominate them. This makes her a poor pet for a family with affectionate young children or other dogs.

Martha has a lovely blonde coat, a very funny, quick personality, and a tremendous drive. She is very responsive and affectionate.
