Mackey is a sweet guy who likes to play with toys and other dogs, and who desires a lot of attention from his human.

He weighed a whopping 25 lbs. when he came into foster care. He has shed about 2 lbs. and has about 3 or 4 to go. He needs to have his teeth cleaned once the vet says he's lost enough weight.

He has some weakness in his hind legs, so a home without a lot of stairs is necessary. His ideal weight is probably about 19 lbs., so that's still quite a load for someone to carry up and down the stairs all the time.
